Continuing with our Q&A series we caught up with returning Wells legend Scott "Whibbles" Whibley.
Whibbles was a major player in the Successful team of the 2012/13 season which saw the club win the Kent Senior Trophy and get to Wembley in the FA Vase final.
Scott left the club at the end of the 13/14 campaign and joined league rivals Phoenix Sports where he was instrumental in getting the club promoted to the Ryman North.

The Wells U16 players Sammie Mcleod, Rhys Bartlett & Dale Ashman have been selected to play for the Kent FA v Sussex 22/11/15 Well done lads!

Winning a tight majority for the Man of the Match award In the 3-2 win Vs Fisher is goal scorer Joe Nwoko. Also mentioned in dispatches is the returning Kieron Tarbie. Well done lads.
A special mention of gratitude is also made to both sets of players and the officials for the game which was played out dispite the horrendous weather conditions.

Saturday sees The Wells begin this seasons FA Vase tournament with a trip to Knaphill FC of the Combined Counties league.
The Knappers are relative new comers to the FA Vase first entering the competition in 2011. With their best performances reaching the second round proper in 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16.
The Knappers reached this seasons second round proper by beating Cray Valley PM 5-4 aet.
Managed by Keith Hills, Knaphill currently sit 14th in their league table having won 6 drawn 2 and losing 6 of their 14 league games so far this season.

Knaphill

THANK YOU

On behalf of the Board I would like to express our thanks to the 140 loyal fans who braved what can only be described as terrible conditions for the home game against Fisher. Once again we were the best supported team in the league which amazingly didn't suffer a single postponement yesterday. You are quite simply the best.

I know that the Vase holds a special place in the hearts of our supporters so let us turn Knaphill a very Royal Red!

COYW

Everyone at TWFC wishes a very happy birthday to Marilyn Bromley. We hope you have an amazing day.
