The first Man of the Match of the season has been decided and we have a tie. Congratulations to Chris Seenan and new signing and debutant Luke Mathias who both polled 36% of the vote. Well done lads.

A brace from Chris Seenan and a thunderbolt from Hooley Cornell saw Keith Bird and his new look Wells side come away from Crockenhill with a positive start to their Pre Season schedule.

Keith Bird continued his building of the Management Team by appointing Mark Stapley as Coach. Mark has held a number of Roles at Hastings including Care Taker Manager, Assistant Manager & Coach. He also had a spell with Keith at Bromley. Please extend a big Culverden welcome to Mark.

The squad for the 2015/16 campaign has been announced.

Keith Bird and Jason Bourne have been working extremely hard since their appointments and we are delighted to announce that they have assembled a squad that they believe has both quality and desire worthy of the red shirt of TWFC. From the few training sessions that have been held it looks already as though there is a togetherness about the group. Additionally watching from the outside in the lads did appear to be having fun, not sure it was all fun for those training as the players were certainly worked hard.

Please note that the friendly against Lydd Town on Tuesday 14th July 2015 has now been postponed due to an unplayable surface.

For the latest thoughts from our new manager Keith Bird visit

Tunbridge Wells Football Club are delighted to announce that Keith Bird has accepted the position of First Team Manager. Keith's last position was Manager of Cray Wanderers, previously he was at Bromley Football Club where he held a variety of positions including First Team Coach and Reserve Team Manager, whilst in these positions Keith coached some of the Youth Teams.
As part of the interview process Keith has met with some of senior players at TWFC.

Midfielder Jake Beecroft has left The Wells to join former Wells Centre Half Nick Davis at Ryman South side Sittingbourne F.C.
Having joined from Folkestone Invicta at the beginning of the 13/14 season, The Wizard will be remembered fondly for his cross field passing and precision free kicks and also for that "Worldie" against Whyteleafe.
Everyone at TWFC wishes Jake all the best for the future.

It is with regret that Tunbridge Wells Football Club have accepted the resignation of Martin Larkin. During Martin's tenure as first team Manager the Club has achieved much, the first silverware in twenty five years, three further cup finals, including the FA Vase Cup Final at Wembley and a trend of improving league finishes. Martin described having to make the decision to resign as 'horrific' Martin has always done what is best for the Football Club that he feels so deeply about. He is aware of the number of hours that are required to drive the Football Club forward.

Former Wells striker Jack Harris has joined Ryman South outfit Hastings Utd from league play off semi finalist Faversham Town.
Having left the Culverden to join Maidstone Utd. Harris 21, found it difficult to break into the first team and was loaned out to Faversham and made the move permanent the following season. He netted 17 times for the lilywhites last term.
Rumours were abound that he could return to the Culverden coming in to replace Brendon Cass who left the Wells to take up a player/coach role at fellow SCEFL side Erith and Belverdere.

Last seasons Golden Boot winner Brendon Cass has left the club to take up a player/Coach role at Erith and Belvedere. Everyone at TWFC would like to wish Brendon good luck in the next chapter of his footballing career and for the goals he scored last season.

It is with great regret that we inform you that our Webmaster and Website Developer Craig Methven passed away yesterday.

Craig came to Tunbridge Wells Football Club as a supporter and volunteered his services to upgrade our website. He refused payment for the work that he did, always stating the fact that he was a supporter first and foremost. He will be sadly missed by all at TWFC.

Our condolences go to Craig's family at this sad time.
