NEXT MATCH Vs SHEPPEY UTD

After a 4 week absence The Wells return to The Culverden on Saturday to host Sheppey Utd in the SCEFL premier division.

The Ites sit one place above The Wells in 4th. They have gained 30pts from 15 games, with a playing record consisting of 9 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats.
Sheppey have managed to win only 3pts against teams in the top 8 of the division, Gaining 3 draws against Canterbury ( 2-2 ) , Chatham ( 2-2 ) and Hollands & Blair
( 3-3 ). All of their wins coming against teams currently placed tenth or lower.

Having successfully navigated November undefeated, The Wells go into Saturday’s game as the leagues in form side. They sit 5th on 28pts having played 2 games less (13) than Sheppey. Two away wins and the home victory against Chatham Town has seen The Wells move to within 6pts of 2nd places Chatham with 5 games in hand.

Last session at The Culverden The Wells were unable to recover from Sheppey’s 0-3 half time lead and eventually lost 1-3. Chad Bryce-Borthwick scoring a late consolation in front of 167 spectators.
