The Wells put in a determined performance to earn an excellent 3pts away at Deal Town.
Jason Thompson opened the scoring on 14mins when he fired into the top right corner after Jordan Wells had dribbled and squared in the Deal area.
Ben Cardwell equalised for the hosts 4mins before the break with a scrappy goal.
Deal were reduced to ten men after a reckless challenge by Luke Bigginton on Wells substitute Danny Powell saw the Deal defender receive his marching orders.
Ryan Cheek restored The Wells lead when the Deal keeper James Tonkin could only parry Josh Froggatt’s shot to Cheek who duly converted on 57mins.
Jason Thompson and Danny Powell both went close to adding for The Wells but found Tonkin in fine form for the hosts.
The win sees The Wells climb to 5th with 25pts from 12 games.
