The Wells continued their Pre Season with a hard fought win against former Wells defender Nick Davis's Sittingbourne.
The Wells took the lead thanks to a Jason Barton penalty.
Sittingbourne who named former Wells favourites Dane Moore and Joe Fuller in their ranks equalised through a penalty of their own when Tom Bryant was harshly adjudged to have played his man before the ball in a last gasp challenge.
The Wells settled the tie through a well worked corner when Jason Barton headed home and make it 2 wins in 2 for Jason Bourne.
Special credit has to be made to Scott Bartlett, Mick Martin and James Purton who managed to get this game played at such short notice.
The Wells return to pre season action Tuesday evening when they welcome Eastbourne Borough to The Culverden.
