Nick Davis has joined Tunbridge Wells. Davis stepped down as joint manager of Ryman League side Sittingbourne earlier this month. An experienced central defender, he also lists Maidstone United, Tonbridge and Ramsgate among his former clubs.

Season 2014/15 kicks off with an away game at Cray Valley PM on August 9th, breaking a long run of years in which the campaign has kicked off at Culverden. Lingfield – newly transferred from the Sussex Countly League – will provide the opposition for The Wells’ first home game on Tuesday, August 12th.

Tunbridge Wells have announced the signing of two more additions for Season 2014/15. As Martin Larkin’s squad takes shape, George Benner (pictured) and Matt Parsons have put pen to paper.

George Benner joins from Herne Bay. Prior to joining Bay, however, he was with Erith & Belvedere and was a key figure is their Kent League and Cup double winning season two years ago.

Goal scoring last season wasn’t a problem for Tunbridge Wells. Goals conceded was an area that needed addressing, and Tunbridge Wells manager Martin Larkin has moved to freshen up his defence during pre-season.

Last week, a defensive addition was made in the form of Tom Bryant, who brings a wealth of experience playing further up the pyramid. As a happy coincidence, he also chips in with the odd goal. www.tunbridgewellsfc.com caught up with Tom to delve further into the winning mentality that Larkin’s been looking to recruit…

Following last night's friendly at Rusthall, first team boss Martin Larkin was delighted to secure the signings of defender Tom Bryant and forward Danny Powell (who marked the night scoring the first goal). In addition goalkeeper Stephen Lawrence has opted to stay at Culverden for the coming year.

Brendon Cass

With the first three summer signings revealed, it's an exciting prospect having Brendon Cass added to the core of a side that produced 90 league goals last season. Cass has been a goal-scoring hit at all of his previous clubs and has winners medals to show for his exploits, yet as www.tunbridgewellsfc.com found out in an interview with the player - he has the success of the team at heart for this coming season, ultimately...

TWFC: Firstly, welcome to Culverden! Tell us something that few people know about Brendon Cass…

Aaron Lacy in action for Faversham

Martin Larkin outlined earlier in the summer that he wanted to add some leadership to the mix to support Jason Bourne and Joe Fuller. It would appear he’s succeeded as today he discusses the signings he’s made to support a serious title assault for 20014/15 season with www.tunbridgewellsfc.com.

The draw for the FA Competitions has been made at FA HQ today:

Tunbridge Wells first team manager Martin Larkin remains tight-lipped about who his squad includes for this coming season – at least for the next few days. One piece of news that many at Culverden will be pleased to hear is that Chris Seenan remains, waiting to show the club that there’s more to come from him. That’s pretty encouraging when you consider he hit 10 goals in 17 games for the club last year.

We caught up with Seenan to discuss the off-season so far; his expectations for the new season; and English World Cup failure through Scottish eyes…
