A lovely sunny September afternoon saw The Wells suffer their third home defeat of the season at the hands of inform Lordswood.
The Wells took the lead through a Jason Barton penalty after Ben Hunt was upended after 11mins.
The Lords equalised 9mins later when Striker Timmy Babington was quickest to react to a corner and poke home.
Lordswood took the lead in the 2nd minute of injury time at the end of the first half from another corner and more static Wells defending allowing centre half Sam Hayes to score.
Enoch Adjei added a 3rd on 58mins.
The Wells were awarded another penalty when Chris Seenan was fouled inside the area to which he also received his marching orders after reacted.
Jason Barton converted the resulting spot kick but saw it awarded as an own goal having been adjudged to have gone in via the back of Lordswood keeper l'Anson having hit the inside goal post and run along the goal line.
Manager Keith Bird will be hoping the clubs defensive injury crisis is nearing an end having failed to keep a clean sheet since the 2-0 home win Vs Cray Valley.
The Wells remain 8th in the SCEFL table.
