Cray Valley PM

The Wells got their first win of the season winning an enthralling encounter with Cray Valley. It took just 18 secs for the first incident when a long ball over the top from the visitors saw Steve Lawrence come rushing out his area and appear to handle outside the box but went unpunished from the referee.
The Wells took the lead through a 34th min Jason Barton penalty when Cray Valley centre half Aiden Sherlock saw red for elbowing Brad Potter.
Ian Parsons added a second when he finished off a lovely passage of passing by tapping the ball in from close range.
Cray were awarded a penalty of their own in the 78th min which was superbly saved by Steve Lawrence.
Wells move up to 9th in the SCEFL table.
Next up the Wells travel to Dartfords Princes Park on Tuesday night to take on title favourites Greenwich Borough.
