HARRIS JOINS HASTINGS UTD

Former Wells striker Jack Harris has joined Ryman South outfit Hastings Utd from league play off semi finalist Faversham Town.
Having left the Culverden to join Maidstone Utd. Harris 21, found it difficult to break into the first team and was loaned out to Faversham and made the move permanent the following season. He netted 17 times for the lilywhites last term.
Rumours were abound that he could return to the Culverden coming in to replace Brendon Cass who left the Wells to take up a player/coach role at fellow SCEFL side Erith and Belverdere.
Speaking exclusively to tunbridgewellsfc.com about those rumours Culverden Choirmaster Julian "Fud" Fussell said "Whilst Jack will always have legendary status at the Culverden for his role in the club getting to Wembley in the F.A.Vase it's the firm belief of the fans that a beast in midfield is where we need to strengthen and some pace on the flanks would also be nice."
With the SCEFL player registration date not open until 1st July, Wells fans will have to wait a little longer to find out who will be privileged enough to wear the Royal Red next season.
