Monday 3 November: The draw for the FA Vase Second Round Proper was made at FA Headquarters today. Tunbridge Wells will play Westfield away. The match is scheduled for Saturday, 22nd November, kick-off 3pm.
Surrey-based Westfield play in the Combined Counties League and currently sit 19th (of 21), having won 12 points from their opening 16 league matches. They've reached the Second Round of the Vase beating Raynes Park 3-1 away on Saturday.
"All Vase games are tough and away ones even tougher," noted Martin Larkin on receiving news of the draw. "We will do our homework as always. All you can hope is that when the game comes around we have everyone fit and available, that's all you can ask really."
Coincidentally, Westfield have been knocked out of the Vase by Kent-based opposition for the last two seasons, with Beckenham beating them 4-0 last season in the First Round.
